Everything you need to know about NotiHub
NotiHub was originally designed for email monitoring. While the codebase supports other services via cookies, IMAP-based email monitoring is the most reliable and recommended method.
First, check that your browser allows notifications (click 'Test Audio System' button). Also verify your App Password is correct and your email source shows 'Synced' status.
Click the 'Dismiss' button on the notification popup, or press the Escape key. The sound will stop immediately.
A mobile app is currently in development. For now, you can use the web version on your phone's browser for monitoring.
On the web version, you need to keep the browser tab open. For desktop alerts even when the browser is closed, download our Windows desktop app.

Currently, NotiHub is optimized for Gmail. However, any email provider that supports IMAP should work. You'll need to find the correct IMAP server address for your provider.
An App Password is a 16-character code generated by Google that allows apps to access your Gmail securely. You can create one at myaccount.google.com/apppasswords. It's more secure than using your real password.
Yes! NotiHub uses Google App Passwords, not your main password. App Passwords are separate credentials that can be revoked anytime without affecting your main account. We never store your actual Gmail password.
